Supporting families of children and young
people with cancer in the East Midlands

To celebrate schools out for Easter PASIC launched one of our busiest weeks of trips on record. Families were given a choice of SIX egg-cellent trips, with everyone getting their first choice.

Twinlakes: Monday 11th April

Kick starting the week was a trip to Twinlakes Family Theme Park in Melton Mowbray. 22 families joined us for fun on the rides.

Paradise Island Adventure Golf: Tuesday 12th April

The next day we had a smaller trip to Paradise Island Adventure Golf in Northampton. Three of our Northampton-based families enjoyed a game of mini golf.

West Lodge Farm Park: Wednesday 13th April

Staying in Northampton, our next trip was to see the animals at West Lodge Farm Park.

It was great to be able to offer our Northampton families a choice of trips as these families often face longer journey times for treatment at Nottingham or Leicester.

The Lost City Adventure Golf: Thursday 14th April

Next up we had a second mini golf trip, this time in Nottingham, with four families putting their mini golfing skills to the test.

Whatton House: Friday 15th April

Nine families came along to Whatton House’s Alice in Wonderland themed Easter event. It was a magical time!

We had the most fantastic experience! It was really magical and we made some very special memories.

Treetop Golf: Tuesday 19th April

Our final trip took us to Leicester where a small number of families also put their golfing skills to the test for a game of mini golf.
