Above and beyond for children with cancer

A huge thank you to our incredible Corporate Supporter, Specsavers, after 40 members of staff took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Pasic.

The team tackled an impressive 24-mile route across the Yorkshire Dales, climbing a total elevation of 1,600 metres as they conquered the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. Completing the challenge in times ranging from 9 to 14 hours, the walkers faced every kind of weather along the way – from bright sunshine and thick fog to torrential rain and strong winds.

Together, the team has raised over £15,000 for Pasic, helping us continue to support families across the East Midlands who are facing childhood cancer.

Stuart Green, organiser of the challenge, said the team showed incredible determination throughout the day.

He shared that taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks was a huge physical challenge, made even more meaningful by the team’s fundraising efforts. Despite the difficult terrain and unpredictable weather, he said everyone involved should feel enormously proud of what they achieved together.
