Above and beyond for children with cancer

Pasic runners make history at the London Marathon

London Marathon

It was an unforgettable day for Pasic as 14 incredible runners crossed the finish line of the London Marathon 2026, marking a truly special milestone for the charity. This year was the very first time Pasic secured places in the iconic race, making the occasion all the more exciting and momentous for everyone involved.

From the early morning start to the final strides across the finish line, the atmosphere was amazing. Pasic staff travelled down to London to support the team, joining friends and family at our cheer station.

Among the runners were parents of children with cancer and friends of families the charity has supported. Each runner had their own deeply personal reason for taking part. Some ran in loving memory of children who have sadly lost their lives to cancer, while others ran in support of young people currently undergoing treatment.

The day was both emotional and inspiring. Every step taken was not just a physical challenge, but a powerful act of fundraising to help Pasic continue its vital work.

"Such a great feeling seeing the Pasic Team at mile 20. Thanks for the boost - it really got me through the next couple of miles!"

In total, our Pasic runners have raised over £230,000. This remarkable amount will make a huge difference to our work, helping us go above and beyond for local families facing childhood cancer.  A big thank you to everyone who took part.

Ex-MotoGP racer and current TNT pundit, Sylvain Guintoli, completed an emotional marathon in memory of his son, Luca, who passed away from cancer last year.

He set an unofficial world record for the fastest marathon in motorcycle leathers. In the process raising over £150,000 for Pasic.

The money will be used in Luca’s memory to support other families going through the devastation of childhood cancer.

We are incredibly grateful to the Guintoli family for their support.
