On 30th April an incredible group of work colleagues climbed mountains (literally!) to raise over £2,500 for PASIC.

The group of fabulous fundraisers from Magnet Kitchens took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to support children with cancer, after our work resonated with organiser Jamie.

He said: “We did a bit of research on local charities and when I reached out to Louise Towse, the chief executive of PASIC, I knew straight away this was the one we wanted to raise money for.

“Your child suffering an illness, especially if it’s severe or terminal, is the worst thing I can imagine happening.”

Speaking about the big day itself Jamie says:

We had an amazing day. The turn out was really good. The walk all went to plan with no injuries, and we all had a lovely meal and drinks that night to celebrate.

Louise says: “We’re so grateful to this incredible group of fundraisers who had no prior knowledge of PASIC but recognised the importance of our work in helping support families facing childhood cancer in the East Midlands. Their support means so much to us, the amount they’ve raised is fantastic and will make such a difference. A huge thank you to all who took part.”
