On Wednesday 10th August 75 families were excited to meet support workers Joanna and Toria at Alton Towers Theme Park.

The families have all been through the trauma of childhood cancer, with many still going through treatment, and others having a child who has finished treatment recently. We were also pleased to be able to give several recently bereaved families the chance for important quality time together.

It was the biggest trip of the year with more than 350 people enjoying a fun day out free of charge. Many happy memories were made.

It was an amazing day. Thank you to the Pasic team for giving us the opportunity to attend. This was our first outing since treatment started and you guys really did make it a special one.”

We all had a wonderful time thank you so much for this opportunity. Liv’s favourite ride was the runaway train.”

We want to say thanks very much for today, although it was hot we had the best time. Fraser went mad in Justin’s house, took us a while to leave this place as he was having so much fun.”

Thank you so much for the tickets today the boys have absolutely loved it. Especially Alex who is going through a tough time at present waiting for some results on whether he has to start intensive treatment again. Today was just perfect timing to cheer him up and take his mind off it.”

Just a little note to say thank you so much for today’s Alton Towers Trip! We had the best time… it was hot but we made the most of the water rides! Thank you again…. Eve’s favourite was the wicker man and she would of spent all day queuing for that!”

The day was truly special. Sebastian ran around and was into everything, his eyes wide open the whole time. We happened to come across pictures from this time last year when he couldn’t even stand up unsupported so to see him laughing and playing was honestly beautiful. Thank you for organising this trip! We’ll remember it for a long time.”

Thank you PASIC, we had such a lovely day. The last time we were at Alton Towers was 2 years ago, just before the first lockdown and, as we were walking around, we remembered lots of forgotten memories about Natty.”
