Above and beyond for children with cancer

My child has cancer

We’re here to support you, from diagnosis, during treatment, and beyond.

Are you facing childhood cancer in the East Midlands? We can help you today.

If your child is being treated at Nottingham Children’s Hospital, Leicester Children’s Hospital or Northampton General, we’re here for you.  We’ll also keep supporting you when treatment ends.

Support in and out of hospital

From diagnosis and beyond, we’ll give you practical advice and emotional support to relieve some of the stress your family is facing.

Financial
support

We can give you financial help and vouchers to ease the burden of lost earnings, travel expenses, and other hidden costs of cancer.

Trips and
activities

Let us take your whole family out, so that everyone gets the chance to enjoy some much-needed fun and normality.

Holiday and short-break referrals

If you need a proper break from the stresses and strains of childhood cancer, we’ll refer you for a free holiday, for all the family to enjoy.

Emotional support and counselling

Childhood cancer significantly affects the mental wellbeing of the whole family. So you and your family may find our professional counselling, art or play therapy sessions helpful.

Making memories and bereavement support

If you’ve been told that your child will not get better, we’re here to support you and help your family make memories you can treasure forever.

Lots of fantastic organisations offer support and guidance for families facing childhood cancer. Access a few of them here.
