20 families facing a child’s cancer diagnosis got to enjoy the Traditional Rides fair at Wollaton Park thanks to donated tickets.
The organisers of the traditional vintage funfair have been long-time supporters of PASIC, each year helping to bring much-needed smiles to the faces of children on cancer treatment.
Children like three-year-old Chester who got to enjoy quality time with his mum and sister between treatments. His mum said:
Thank you so much for our tickets, we managed to use them yesterday before we were admitted back in for one weeks treatment. So nice to have that special family time we really needed it.”
