A group of fundraising mums recently held a charity barn dance and camp out to raise money for local children with cancer.
The mums, who live in and around Towcester, Northamptonshire, have launched Towcester’s Big Charity Challenge – a year of fundraising to give something back to local causes.
We were delighted to hear they’d chosen to donate proceeds from their barn dance to PASIC.
On 25th June around 200 people got their toes tapping at the fabulous event, which was held at a local farm.
The event was a huge success, raising an amazing £2,700!
CEO Louise says: “We’re so grateful to this incredible group of people for choosing to fundraise for our charity. They had no prior knowledge of PASIC but recognised the good work we do to support families facing childhood cancer in the region. It’s such a brilliant amount raised and will make a big difference.”
