The PASIC 45th Anniversary Ball came back in style after a 3 year break at Crowne Plaza Hotel on 19th November.

Hosting the event was Smooth Radio’s Gareth Evans, with live music from Nottingham band Electric Jukebox, a three course meal, live auction and raffle. Over 200 guests, including England cricketers Luke Fletcher and Graeme Swann, danced into the night to raise more than £25,000 for local children with cancer.

PASIC Chief Exec. Louise Towse said: “Support from local businesses and members of the wider local community was overwhelming. Generous contributions and sponsorship helped us achieve an incredible total on the night. The money raised will make such a difference to the support we can give to local families facing the devastation of childhood cancer.”

“I’d like to personally thank each and every person who supported this years’ event. We’re amazed at the total raised and it’s a testament to the hard work of everyone involved. From the generous guests who attended, to the fantastic businesses who donated raffle prizes and auction lots, and the volunteers who made sure the event ran smoothly.”

The funds raised will be used to support our work providing children with cancer and their siblings the chance to make memories and enjoy quality time together on trips and activities.
