About PASIC

PASIC charity plays a vital role in supporting families of over 440 children and young people disadvantaged through living with cancer across the East Midlands.

Our aim is to make a positive difference to their lives, by improving day-to-day living and wellbeing and helping them have fun despite being in the midst of the most difficult, distressing severe and sometimes terminal illness. We provide emotional, practical, and social support during cancer treatment, palliative care and post treatment when life is still very tough.

We’re unique in providing support for the whole family and helping young people post treatment when they continue to have chronic health problems or may be disabled. We stand out from other organisations because we continue our support when a child’s treatment ends, when families need help to get life back on track. We’re a social lifeline at a traumatic and isolating time.
