In 2025, William Beer, CEO of Tunley Environmental, will be embarking on a remarkable journey. Each week, he’ll run a marathon. Covering a total of 2,184km over the course of the year.
Not all difficulties are negative. Trials and tribulations can be the making of us. Pushing through pain has helped me enhance my focus and drive, both as a leader and as an individual.”
Last year, Will ran 1,727 km, surpassing his original goal of 30 km per week. This year, he’s taking it a step further, committing to a marathon every week.
Will is already off to a flying start! In the first week of 2025, he ran 84 km, pushing through sore knees, shin splints, and back pain.
This challenge isn’t just about running. It’s about finding strength in adversity and inspiring others to do the same.”
The Marathon of a CEO isn’t just about miles run or records broken; it’s about making a difference. All funds raised through this challenge will be donated to PASIC, a charity close to Will’s heart and one Tunley has proudly supported in previous years.
