On 12th August, more than 300 children and family members came together for a very special day out at Alton Towers.
The trip gave youngster impacted by childhood cancer the chance to enjoy a fun-filled day together.
Members of the Pasic Support Team were also there to welcome families and make sure they felt supported.
For families facing childhood cancer, opportunities to spend quality time together are so important. Treatment schedules, hospital appointments and the impact of illness can make it difficult for families to enjoy days out, so the Alton Towers trip provided a much-needed opportunity to create happy memories as a family.
The trip was funded by Children in Need.
Unfortunately not every family was able to join us on the group trip day because of their child’s health or treatment schedule. A further 100 people will have the opportunity to visit Alton Towers on another day.
