Supporting families of children and young
people with cancer in the East Midlands

Working together with a charity can be fun and rewarding for everyone, and we’re not just talking about office fundraising.  Pharmaceutical and biotech company, Catalent helped make the PASIC Gold Ribbon Ball a real success,  as staff teams helped with preparations in advance, as well as setting up and hosting at the ball.

Businesses and PASIC partnerships have created great outcomes for all involved in 2019.

Our community of volunteers

We’re all about community and our volunteers find giving us a hand is very rewarding.

In 2018-19 over 60 volunteers have helped PASIC offer more support to families than ever before.  The jobs that make a difference aren’t always the obvious ones either.

This year volunteers have helped us…

  • Design a new database to track families, enabling us to improve our service and help families most in need.
  • Nottingham and Trent University students were involved in digital marketing and impact consultancy projects.
  • Approximately 50 volunteers, including young people we’ve supported, their relatives and friends assist with events, IT, research, business planning and with administrative and practical jobs as needed.
