Supporting families of children and young
people with cancer in the East Midlands

COVID 19 Update

Here at PASIC the health and safety of our children, young people, families, staff and volunteers is paramount. Therefore, in line with government guidelines, we’re adapting our face to face services to offer support by phone and online.

We’re still here for you at the end of the phone, so you’re not alone. Whether your child is newly diagnosed or you’re an existing PASIC family and struggling to cope or need any help at all, please get in touch.

Pick up the phone and call your Family Support Worker:

Follow the latest Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group guidance online: or speak to your healthcare professionals with any medical queries.

We’re looking at new and exciting ways of supporting you during these unusual times, so please follow us on social media and check out website for updates and virtual fun activities for families.

Supporters and volunteers

While the PASIC team aren’t out and about in the community at present, we’re still able to actively support you with your amazing fundraising over the phone, by email and on social media.

We need your help more than ever so we can continue to support families living with childhood cancer going through the most difficult of times.

We’re getting our heads together on lots of new and exciting ways to fundraise from the comfort of your own armchair, garden or local streets, so follow us on social media where we’ll be sharing ideas and launching virtual fundraising events in the next few weeks.

Cancer doesn’t stop for coronavirus and the young cancer patients and families we support are facing a real crisis and need us more than ever. Parents tell us they feel as worried now about coronavirus as they did the day that they were told their child had cancer.

If you’d like to fundraise for PASIC or volunteer, we’d love to hear from you.  Email or call 07935 330805 to speak to Louise.
