:-O Playing catch up in date order, because this week has been very busy! Plus I have added more events below and new collection points
Valantines Day/ Town Mill Mansfield!
This was my first experience of a ceilidh! The fantastic people that came along, had a wonderful time and Odds and Sods were brilliant! I am now in serious need of another new camera, which will be purchased next week! So many apologies for the poor quality lighting and video but you will get the idea! Look out for the loud mouth so and so at the end! ME lol!
Morrisons at Mansfield Woodhouse: Store Collection
A massive thank you, to everyone who volunteered and donated at Mansfield Woodhouse + a big thank you for letting us collect at your store. The three day collection raised over 640.00… Thank you everyone!
Mansfield Town Football Club Collection
Saturday started initially :-) on a low note, due to the Mansfield Town Football Club Match being cancelled due to icy conditions. But the day was not all lost!
In-fact some of volunteers including myself ended up being recruited to take part in an advert for Kit Kat at the stags ground for the build up to the world cup this year!
So in a couple of months, you will see us all inside andoutside the ground collecting for PASIC
The chap did keep getting a bit too close with that camera though! Ahhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrr
In between all of this I met Donna from the public bar at the stags ground, where I explained what my aim was and how difficult things are at the moment due to the time of year (financially) plus how the weather is currently hampering all of our efforts.
Donna was fab! She popped off had a chat with her manager and on her return she offered me 3 family tickets worth £64 each + the opportunity to collect at the home matches in the bar + hold a monthly raffle. On top of this Donna confirmed that they would provide PASIC with a family ticket each month as a prize, over the next year! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
In regards to the match collection, this will resume once we have been informed of the rescheduled date, but I’m not holding my breath
after having 10 inches of snow land on planet Maria this morning!
What was funny, was that i thought I was doing the advert for the payment of a Kit Kat lol, so when I got handed £50, I headed straight to the local post office to buy some raffle tickets books
which will now be the next faze of my plan, if this snow goes away SOON!!

Volunteers
Thank you everyone who came along to the match collection, and those that were on their way, but found out the match had been cancelled prior to heading out! In total, we managed to raise the support of over 15 volunteers for the match collection, which was brilliant! Thank you everyone for wishing to give up your time for PASIC!
Also, as a result of my continual plea for support, a number of our volunteers are going to their schools on Monday or Tuesday {IF THEY ARE OPEN
} To find out if they could hold a non-uniform day! Thank you so much Zoe and James!!!
